Planned Sabotage

"Is that you, Carlos?" Jimmy asked. The Sri Lankan girl in front of him only smiled and giggled. It was him alright. He immediately ran to hug her. "That's awesome!" he celebrated. "How did you convince her to do it?"

"I didn't have to. I wanted to stay a girl, and Aarani wanted to get away from her overbearing parents. So we made a deal."

"But how did you get to stay as her after swap class? The teachers would never allow that."

"I snuck in last night and messed with the machine. I just had to make sure we were the first ones to 'switch back' upon graduation. Nobody will know. Just make sure to call me Aarani from now on."

"Don't worry, I got you." To everyone else, Aarani learned a lot from swap class and became a happier person. In reality, Carlos was living as the pretty girl he always wanted to be. In time, Carlos and Jimmy would get quite close. They even started dating.
