Defunded Experiment

Cory was 25 years old and still in college. He kept falling behind in class and had repeated several years, so when a new opportunity came along that would give him enough credit-hours to graduate, he took it without a second thought. "Perspective Enhancement" was the name of the course. It was an experimental class to put the minds of students in each other's bodies for a semester. Cory swapped with Rebecca, a short 18-year-old freshman girl.

There were no exams or homework. Cory simply had to record his experiences as a woman. He would take note of how he saw the world differently; as a different height, gender, and age to what he was used to. Unfortunately, the machine required to switch minds was incredibly expensive to run and maintain, and the program ran out of funding just before it was time to switch back. There was not enough money in the university budget to fix it after all the lawsuits, so Cory was stuck as Rebecca for the foreseeable future. In his dorm, he looked at his naked female body in the mirror in disbelief. His perspective had definitely been enhanced.
