Strange New World

As the tide came in, and the cold water touched his skin, Troy regained consciousness. He was immediately in a panic; he had no idea where he was, or what he was doing here. The last thing he remembered was going to bed after a night out with friends. Now for some reason, he was on the beach in the body of a teenage girl. One with wide hips and large breasts and dressed in only a skimpy bikini. Even more confusing, his striking magenta hair seemed to be completely natural. It was not dyed or highlighted in any way.

Troy stood up and started looking for an explanation for his surroundings? With no point of reference, his mind wandered in a thousand directions. Was this some elaborate prank? A game show? The future somehow? Had his mind been uploaded to a digital reality? Or maybe some aliens kidnapped and experimented on him, and they placed him in an open-world exhibit just to see what he would do. He had no idea what was going on, or where to even begin to find answers. So he just kept walking.

After hours of walking along the sand, Troy came across a small structure. It certainly wasn't natural, but calling it man-made seemed a bit presumptuous at the moment. The sun had risen high in the sky by this point, and the temperature was far too high to be considered pleasant anymore. He was exhausted and dehydrated, with lips chapped and skin raw from the constant windblown sand. He stepped inside, but found only a brief respite from the elements. No people, food, clothes, technology, or an explanation of any kind to be found.

Behind the structure however, there was something of value. A continuous fountain of freshwater! He took off his bikini and rushed over to the makeshift shower. He let the water wash over his feminine body and rejoiced in having something familiar at hand. There were so many questions that needed answering, but this was a start.
