Bulkier Frame

Connor wished he had been born a girl, but when he sought advice from a therapist, all he was given was a strange book. He was frustrated by the lack of direct answers, but after a while he decided to read it. What he found was incredible; it was actually a magical instruction manual for swapping body parts with someone else. He was overjoyed. If done right, he could turn himself female. The problem was, he could only perform a maximum of five swapping rituals. He would have to be smart about this.

Connor listed the help of his friend to help him build his ideal body. Together they built a simple machine that would restrain the patient while the body underwent changes. They figured such changes would be painful and generate a lot of body heat, so the patient would also be dunked into a tank of cold water during the spell.

First on the list: become a woman. Connor decided to swap his brain with Courtney down the street, giving himself a canvas for further changes. He recited the spell and his friend dunked into the water for a full minute. When he came back up, he was spitting up water and cursing from the pain, but the book had worked its magic. Connor was now a girl! The next few hours were spent carefully analyzing himself in the mirror. He eventually gave himself brown eyes, wider hips, and longer legs.

Connor had one ritual left. Looking in the mirror, he was already happy with his new body. However, there was one change he wouldn't mind making. He targeted the major muscle groups of his original body and recited the spell. His friend lowered him into the freezing water as the changes took place. All he could do now was hold his breath and endure the pain.

The platform rose out of the water one last time, and Connor gasped for air when his head broke the surface. He shivered from both the cold and his own nerves going berserk. "That hurt like hell," he spat. "Did it work?"

"See for yourself," his friend said as he held up a mirror. Sure enough, his frame was much more muscular now. All the pain had been worth it. He was now a woman, but with the strength of a man.
