Working Through It (Part 7)

Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6

Stanley woke up in a sudden jolt, breathing in so deep he nearly gave himself a coughing fit. The headaches were less severe now, but very much still present. His heart was beating so hard, it felt like it was going to burst out of his chest. He put is hand over it, only to feel his breasts. This had not been a dream; he was still a woman. Once again, he had no idea where he was. He turned onto his side only to find the edge of his medical bed. Lacking the strength to stop his fall, he slowly stumbled onto the cold floor.

After taking a moment to gather his strength, Stanley tried to climb back onto his feet. It was extremely difficult to stay balanced; his head was buzzing and the room was spinning. He recognized that he was only in his underwear. Either he was being prepared for a medical procedure of some kind, or one was just recently done to him. He was both freezing cold and sweating profusely at the same time. The depressingly sterile conditions of the room were not helping his mental state. After another brief stumble, he managed to catch himself and stay upright this time. It was time to figure out what was going on.

He left the room and began to walk down a mysterious hallway. He struggled to keep his balance with each footstep. Every few seconds he got full-body chills. He figured if his heart wasn't racing, he would be feeling much colder at the moment. Lights turned on as they detected Stanley's movement, but the fact that they were off meant nobody had been here for some time. It seemed familiar though. For some reason, he got the feeling that he was at the same hospital where he first woke up with this body. Did Roland bring him here? He remembered passing out right after they started their second round of sex. Something must be terribly wrong.
