Stranded in the Apocalypse (Part 12): New Life
Cameron was carrying fish to the smoker. The homestead was complete, food was plentiful, and nobody had bothered her or Gabriel for 10 years now. Well, no strangers at least.
"Mommy! Mommy!" a little girl ran out from the thicket towards her.
Cameron turned her head. It was Alyssa, her eldest daughter. "Look what I found in the forest today." It was a turquoise stone with a pattern engraved on it. Probably a piece of jewelry lost when the grid collapsed.
"Wow, very cool." She switched to parent mode. "Now have you finished all your knotwork? You need to keep practicing with that."
"Yes, mommy." She then looked down at her mother's catch, puzzled by the fish she was carrying. "You haven't craved bluefish since you were pregnant with Jonah. Am I going to have another little brother or sister?"
Cameron tilted her head, slightly annoyed that her eldest found out so soon; she was hoping to give a surprise announcement at dinner later that week. At the same time, she was impressed by how smart her daughter was. "Yes, sweetheart I am," she answered. "But let's keep this a secret for now, okay?"
"Mmm okay," she replied in a bubbly manner. "How many brothers and sisters am I going to have?"
Cameron thought for a moment. Her body was only 27 years old now, and this would be her fourth child with Gabriel. She was an exceptionally fertile woman and never had any complications during pregnancy or childbirth. She also had a huge breeding kink; there was nothing more gender-affirming to being a woman that being continually impregnated by her husband. Besides, Gabriel loved to cum inside her every chance he had. She could easily manage six more if she wanted to. "We'll see," was her answer.
