Stranded in the Apocalypse (Part 7): Held at Knifepoint
Cameron wanted to be anywhere else than the camp of barbarian slavers that nearly raped him, but without thinking he went to help the wounded men who risked their lives to free him. Were they his instincts? Or was he becoming more nurturing after being a woman for so long? He bent down to wrap a bandage around a man's leg, feeling his massive tits nearly spill out of his top, when a blade was pushed against his chest.
"Not so fast!" a woman shouted from behind him. The blade was raised to his throat, forcing him to stand. The woman yanked his hair, pulling him back into a firm hold at knifepoint. He raised his hands to signal surrender, though his face of anger and disgust returned. Everyone slowly stood up, backing away at the same time.
"Stop this!" Mother Regina demanded. Her lieutenants, including Gabriel, cautiously approached the scene. "Stop this now! What do you want?"
The woman was dirty, wearing tattered rags, and was nearly crying in anger. "I have been through hell because of you. You sold me to these animals two weeks ago. Do you even remember me? And now what? Only after you lost your prized blonde bimbo do you find the means to come back and rescue us?"
I'm sorry for what happened to you, Keira," she said, placing special emphasis on her name, "but if we didn't make that deal with them they would have done this to all of us anyway. We were just buying time." Cameron realized he guessed the situation correctly. But he was still pissed about it too.
"Then why couldn't I be the one you saved for last? Why her? Why did Princess Barbie get to keep her virginity? It's not fair!" He felt the blade beginning to cut into his skin, but he still didn't dare move.
"It was an impossible situation, Keira. But everyone is safe now. You're free. Now please, put the knife down."
Enraged, but still seeing reason, the woman withdrew the knife and shoved Cameron into Gabriel's arms. "Fuck you!" she spat, walking away with a death stare.
Some time later, Cameron asked to speak with Gabriel privately. They barely walked behind cover before Cameron started spouting. "You agreed to this? How could you not warn me? How could you not help me escape before I was sold off? I thought we..." he paused. "I thought we had something more."
"I didn't want any of this," Gabriel admitted. "Mother Regina and I do not see eye to eye on many things. I made it very clear with her that this crossed the line."
"But you're still on her payroll. So it clearly wasn't enough to want to leave."
"I stayed so I could ensure every woman that got sent away got rescued. And ensure those responsible could never do it again. As of today, I have fulfilled my debt." Cameron dropped eye contact. He hadn't considered the longer game at play before his arrival, but Gabriel continued. "And for the record, nobody can buy my loyalty. I make my own way in the world." As he walked away in frustration, Cameron couldn't help but have a little respect for the man.
